Sometimes all I need to make me happy is time with family or friends. I love to spend hours lounging around some of my favourite Jozi hangouts with good friends; eating, drinking and laughing to our hearts content.
Here are a few places that make me all warm and fuzzy inside…
Espresso – 4th Avenue, Parkhurst
Try the ‘Espresso’ pizza (calamari, bacon, peri-peri sauce and lemon) – add extra rocket for an out of this world experience in your mouth. Perfect for lazy Saturdays filled with Bloody Mary’s.
Salvation Cafe – 44 Stanley, Auckland Park
Eggs Benedict for the win. The decor is just gorgeous too…
Vovo Telo – 44 Stanley, Auckland Park
The best artisan bread in Jozi.
Salsa - 198 Oxford Road, Illovo
Janine’s ‘Beer and Cream Prawns’ are phenomenal. A hidden gem and possibly my favourite restaurant.
I honestly could go on forever, but I won’t bore you.
